Welcome
The name Sami is inspired by the Arabic word samiʿ (سَمِعَ), meaning to listen. Many of us go through life feeling unheard by others and by ourselves. We may struggle to listen to our own needs, emotions, and gut instincts. Therapy offers a space where you can be truly listened to, supported, and accompanied on your own journey of self-discovery and understanding.
In our sessions, you are invited to bring whatever is on your mind. I provide a supportive, safe, and confidential environment in which you can explore your feelings and how they are currently affecting your life. The way we relate to others and how we see ourselves is often shaped by our early experiences. These patterns can show up as recurring thoughts, behaviours, or difficulties in relationships.
For those who have experienced trauma, you may find that coping strategies which once worked no longer feel effective. Whatever you are facing, we will explore it together at your pace. I am not here to tell you what to do; rather, through our therapeutic relationship, we will work towards understanding your experiences, reconciling inner conflicts, and developing ways of coping that feel right for you.
